  2. do not care for Hummus but love the raw Veggies ,however since I have upper False teeth ,I can not eat nuts or raw veggies! I make overnight Oatmeal with Greek Yogart, ground nuts, hemp seeds and chia seeds! I hate fish and seafood so no tuna ,Yuk! I have resorted to Freeze dried Strawberries for now! Sometimes Cottage cheese and cheese!

  3. Very helpful and informative ideas/topics.I'm also doing a diabetic low sodium diet for my husband and I'm sharing it to the world to help other people to eat well and live well.Thank you for sharing this to us.

  4. Accidently came across you, and glad that happened. I joined Weight Watchers back in January of 2021, Green plan. 2 years ago my A1C was at 13.2, presently I've lost over 60 pounds ( since Weight Watchers ), and my A1C was at 5.8 in late August. I'm not advertising for them, just saying " That I needed a strict Structure to get off my Butt, & stop making excuses. Keep it up.

  5. It was nice to know that almost all the things on your list I am already eating as snacks! Thanks so much for the info!

  6. I was recently diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes at the age of 80. Unfortunately, I am anaphylactic to tree nuts and sesame (which rules out the hummus as it's usually made with tahini).
The other snacks are good, though. I have a few other, milder, food allergies so this is going to be tough for me to navigate.

  7. Thanks Doc for your help, snacks are taken every day, but today I have learnt how to take snacks that helps ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜€

  8. Why air popped popcorn? I can understand not using microwave popcorn with all of the added chemicals, but what about old-fashioned popcorn made on the stove using a little oil? Plenty of the other snacks listed contain oils. If I make my popcorn with a tablespoon of olive oil, how does it suddenly become terrible for me? In fact, wouldn't that tiny bit of oil help slow down the absorption of the carbs? If you don't like olive oil, then recommend another one, but I see no reason to rule out "regular" popcorn.

  9. I would either vomit from the smell of tune or have diarrhea all the time from the nuts so i will skip these snacks all together
